KAVIENG MP Ian Ling-Stuckey says a new Kavieng development authority board (DDA) after General Election will implement a land transport policy to supply a market truck for mothers, for each ward in the East and West Coast Kara-Nalik area.
Speaking at Laumalava village in the Tikana local level government recently, he said: “A consultation process over seven days, engaging with about 2,500 mothers from wards seven to 12 in east coast Kara-Nalik, endorsed the policy.
“The police covers the completion of the 2021 DDA education and church infrastructure, transport, housing and small medium enterprise programmes that included a K140,000 Hino truck, a K130,000 15-seater bus and a K77,000 Lucas sawmill.”
