Brewery launches promo to win phone credits

SOUTH Pacific Brewery launched its “Hunt for credit” promotion on Monday in partnership with the SP Hunters and Digicel PNG.
“The campaign aims to give SP Lager consumers the opportunity to win a share of K500,000 in instant Digicel credits,” senior brand manager Christiaan Bonga said. “Winning Digicel phone credits means individuals save cash in their pockets.
“The mechanics are simple: The consumers check under the cap of a SP Lager brown bottle to see if there is a six-digit code.
“If there is, they then text the code to 1952 (no charges apply) to see how much they’ve won.
“It’s as simple as that.”
Bonga said this nationwide promotion was available at all licensed liquor outlets that sold SP Lager bottles.
“So far, we have had winners from all over Papua New Guinea, claiming their phone credits and we expect the number of winners to keep increasing in the coming weeks,” she said.
The promotion ends Sept 30.
