BRIAN Bell is continuing its support for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in agriculture through MPs and governors, says chief executive officer Cameron Mackellar.
He said with the Government now placing more emphasis on the growth of SMEs, Brian Bell was also renewing its commitment to the initiative it had been carrying out.
“Only recently we have also developed a new agriculture offer for small and medium land holders and farmers,” he said.
“We are pitching this new offer to a number of governors and MPs in the coming weeks (as) part of the national agriculture initiative to help SMEs.
“We are forever supporting SMEs across the country with our commercial sales division, with products and services in every sector.”
The Government has allocated K200 million to the SMEs through bank loans to encourage the growth in that sector.
Meanwhile, Mackellar said while the Covid-19 has had an impact on business houses, Brain Bell’s chemicals business and sales all year had been exceptional.
“In more recent months, sales have eased back a little to more normal levels,” he said.
