Brian Bell happy with sale

MORE than 100,000 items were sold during the Brian Bell Homecentre car park sales in Port Moresby and Madang last weekend, according to chief executive officer Cameron Mackellar.
The car park sale moves to Lae, Kokopo and Goroka this weekend with special products sold at up to 70 per cent discount.
Mackellar said the sale “seems to get bigger and bigger for us every year”.
“100,000 products moved is a sensational result in our eyes,” he said.
“We hope this sales has made many of our customers very happy in the lead up to Christmas as well.
“This the fourth year of the car park sale held in Port Moresby and Lae.
“We then extended to Madang and Kokopo last year and this year we are even adding Goroka into the mix. By next year, we will hold sales in every regional Homecentre branch.
“It is a way for us to say thanks to all our customers by providing great discounts on every product and category.”
Mackellar said despite being a Covid-19 year, “it looks like we will set another record this year with sales as well”.
“It’s always a great opportunity to for everyone to get a bargain and really important for us that we reduce as many prices as possible to shift as much volume as we can,” he said.
“We are a business that prides ourselves in creating genuine value for our customers every day, not just during sale periods.”
Brian Bell’s Christmas programme starts on Sunday with hundreds of thousands of Kina in prizes on offer.
