Malo told The National recently that originally, a total of five million hectares nationwide had been given titles under the SABL. He said they were working on another 500,000 hectares which will bring to a total of 2.5 million hectares of SABL titles cancelled and returned to the landowners.
He said the SABLs in New Ireland, East and West New Britain had been cancelled but due to funding, they had not been able to work on the SABLs.
