Pastors to meet at Jiwaka
THE week-long 13th National Pastors and Evangelist Conference for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea will be hosted by ELC – Jiwaka district. The conference, which begins on Sunday, will discuss major issues affecting pastors and evangelists in the country, says the church’s Good News ministry representative Rev Wesley Kerenga.

Agreement re-visited
A MEMORANDUM of understanding (MoU) for the Family and Sexual Violence Action Committee (FSVAC) and the Catholic Archdiocese of Rabaul in East New Britain was re-visited recently. The MoU was mooted by the Catholic church to cater the FSVAC and Catholic Church run Couppe Safe House partnership at Vunapope. FSVAC deputy chairman and ENB senior magistrate Samuel Lavutul said the MoU could be used to strengthen the current partnership.
