MVIL opens for service
MOTOR Vehicle Insurance Ltd (MVIL) says it has reopened for all services throughout the country as of yesterday. MVIL said it is taking necessary measures to continue to operate during the state of emergency (SOE). “Please strictly observe the health and safety controls deployed at the customer services centers.”

Scholarships delayed
THE 2020 Pacific secondary school scholarships programme has been delayed, says the Australian High Commission. The commission stated that the delay was due to the Covid-19 pandemic affecting the world, including Australia and Papua New Guinea. “We acknowledge this may be disappointing news for those that applied but the safety and welfare of students is our top priority,” it said. “We will advise the individual applicants and their parents about this change and next steps. Australia remains committed to the implementation of the programme and we will advise of any future rounds.”
