Firm gives K50,000
Wewak-based tuna firm South Seas Tuna Company (SSTC) donated K50,000 to the East Sepik health authority recently. Managing director Mike McCulley said SSTC’s aimed at helping the authority in the purchase of its personal protective equipment for its first responders.

Funds for awareness
Milne Bay Governor Sir John Crittin says K200,000 has been allocated to support a taskforce team in carrying out awareness on the Covid-19. The province had collected 46 samples for testing and was still awaiting results.

Surprise over report
Two village councillors in North Fly, Western, were surprised when the Government recently announced reports of three confirmed cases in the province. Dome village councillor Bob Damamgan and Iogi village councillor Lexie Gawit said they did not know how and where the health team initially detected these Covid-19 cases.
