Authority brings in oxygen
EASTERN Highlands Provincial Health Authority (PHA) chief executive Dr Jospeh Apa says the PHA has brought in more oxygen cylinders and beefed up manpower to address the increase in Coronavirus (Covid-19) deaths and cases in the province. He said the PHA also planned to build an oxygen production plant.

‘Misinformation scares people’
MENDI businessman Peter Agu says that many people in Southern Highlands are scared to get vaccinated because of misleading information on social media. “Majority of our people are illiterate and educated people must properly educate them and tell the truth about the Covid-19,” he said

PMVs need measures: Official
FORMER Klinki Public Motor Vehicle (PMV) Association chairman and Morobe land transport board member Dan Nali says authorities need to start enforcing Coronavirus (Covid-19) measures on PMVs, especially social distancing. “We have an increasing number of Covid-19 related deaths in Bulolo and we need to follow all measures to make sure we control transmissions,” Nali said.
