Kamake lauds team
PAPUA New Guinea’s coach Harrison Kamake was happy with the soccer men’s 2-1 victory against the Vanuatu development team in the opening match of the MSG Prime Minister’s Cup challenge held at Korman Stadium in Port Vila, Vanuatu last weekend.
However, Kamake admitted his men were rusty coming off a long football break and short time to prepare for the tournament. He said despite being one man down after Ati Kepo was red carded including the absence of captain Raymond Gunemba, the men held on to win the match.
