Broncos win double honours in Pavorayaso rugby league comp

ITISORA Broncos has once again won double honours in the Pavorayaso rugby league grand final at Lese Keharo village in Gulf last Friday.
In the A grade, the boys from Lesse Oala edged out Mary Panthers 14-13 and in the B grade grand final, they defeated host Keharo Cowboys 18-12.
Both teams were awarded Gulf Isapea-sponsored trophies and prize money.
The game was witnessed by a good crowd from the nearby villages of Lesse and Miaru.
The league used two referees to control the A grade final which helped both sides.
Two outstanding players, Broncos’ Joss Martin and Panthers’ Eugene Forova won the man-of-the-match award in the A grade.
The top try scorers were Vincent Levo in A grade and Manu Mai in B grade while the top point scorers throughout the competition were Eddie Hui and John Abraham.
