BSP’s SMS banking service in Fiji

BANK South Pacific has extended its SMS banking service to Fiji.
The Fiji SMS banking service was launched with a huge celebration late last month.
Launching the service was BSP chief executive Ian Clyne, with the Digicel Fiji 7s team and the Fiji Fashion Week girls.
Clyne said: “We are proud to be the first bank to offer this exciting banking service in Fiji … this has been a promise to the people of Fiji when we launched our brand in the country. 
“SMS banking gives our customers easy and convenient access to their account information.
“Our customers can now perform day-to-day banking anywhere, anytime, just by sending an SMS message.
“Our customers do not have to visit a bank branch or the ATM.
“It’s about giving our customers choice … they can bank the way that suits them best,” Clyne said.
“It is important to point out that this is not a mobile wallet. This is a means of accessing your existing bank account!”
