BSP, Ela Motors tie in Pennants

 THE 2013 Telikom Pennants Golf teed off yesterday at the Royal Port moresby Golf Club with 11 teams competing.

In the opening game. Bank South Pacific drew with Ela Motors 3.5. 

The BSP team consisted of  Matthew Jack, Bruse Mackinglay, Namadai Asigau, Phil Gribble, George Lifu, Yokin Kipie and Elly Kaupa while Ela Motors had the likes of Ken Ilake, Wali Ilake, Steven George, Damian Gamiandu, Nick Kuman, Dick Thurgood and Vivien McArthur.

The competition will feature another nine rounds and after round one the standings are: More Than Oil 6, MVIL Mirupasi Lawyers 6, Khumo Tyres Hanjung Tyres 6, DHL 6, BSP 4.5, Ela Motors 4.5, Starland Dragons 3, Telikom 3, AP Engineering 3, STC JD Hayes 3 while Air Niugini were on the bye.

Round two continues this Sunday at the Royal Port Moresby Golf Club.
