BSP Life opens new sales office in Mt Hagen

BANK South Pacific (BSP) Life has opened a sales office in Mt Hagen, as part of its expansion strategy, says country manager Nilson Singh.
Singh said the Mt Hagen office would be manned by two fulltime staff members supported by 20 workers who will be assisting customers sign the Wantok Delite insurance product.
“I would like to thank our project team who have helped to complete this project,” he said.
Singh said the Mt Hagen BSP Life office would invest in awareness and educational programmes on life insurance, in support of Bank of PNG’s financial inclusion programmes.
“It is another exciting day for BSP Life PNG Limited as we celebrate another milestone,” he said,
“I would like to thank our shareholders, BSP Financial Group Ltd, and BSP Life PNG Board for supporting our expansion strategy and increasing our geographical reach to Mt Hagen.”
He said life insurance was about protecting what people cared about most – family, children continuing education, spouses living a life they plan together, or a business partner able to continue the business without you being there.
“It also enables people to plan for future financial needs and enjoying the proceeds from life insurance policy if they survive the policy’s maturity.
“Another reason you need life insurance is the high risk of early deaths due to non-communicable diseases in PNG.
