BSP staff donate money raised for cancer foundation

THE PNG Cancer Foundation has been given K8,665.40 by the Bank South Pacific asset management unit.
The money was raised by the staff who organised morning tea in the office on Oct 11 to mark
the Breast Cancer Awareness month.
PNG Cancer Foundation executive manager Priscillar Napoleon thanked the staff for the initiative and the bank and its employees for the support.
“As a charitable organisation, the PNG Cancer Foundation’s work would not be possible without the backing of local companies and individuals,” Napoleon said.
“With the funds, every toea will go a long way in saving lives.”
BSP’s head of asset management Mukesh Madho said the bank recognised the significant health issues faced by many in PNG and were grateful for the work that the foundation was carrying out.
“The awareness is crucial, as we know that early detection can save lives.”
