THE Kina Bank Haus was thoroughly disinfected after a Covid-19 case was reported to the building management on Tuesday and will open for normal business starting today, according to a statement.
The National Superannuation Fund Limited (Nasfund), owner of the Kina Bank Haus, responded to questions by The National regarding the building’s lockdown due to the Covid-19 case.
On Tuesday, the building management was notified that a staff of a tenant in the Kina Bank Haus had tested positive to the Covid-19.
The tenant notified the National Control Centre (NCC) as required and the building management initiated the company’s response plan which included immediately evacuating all tenants so the disinfection of the building could be carried out.
The disinfection exercise was completed on the same day and the building was scheduled to be re-opened for normal business today.
All the Covid-19 protocols issued and amended by the NCC from time to time were observed and Nasfund would continue to support the authorities and the Government in the effort to combat the Covid-19.
When contacted for comments on Tuesday, Kina Bank management referred all queries to Ashton Brunswick Ltd, the company that manages the building. A spokesperson for Ashton Brunswick referred The National to Nasfund yesterday. Efforts to get comments from the NCC were unsuccessful.
