A BUS driver who is one of the winners of The National weekly masthead competition says he will use the K250 prize money to buy clothes and books for his children.
Rodney Keng, from Kokop village in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands, said it was his first time to win such as a competition.
“I am very happy with this win because it will help me with some of my needs,” he said.
Keng, 32, lives at Gordon and has three children. His wife is from Milne Bay.
He has been living in Port Moresby for 11 years and drives the Route 16 bus from Gordon to 9-Mile.
He said he loved to read The National because it had a wide variety of news and he would continue to do so even after the cover price increased from K1 to K2.
He said The National carried news of what was happening around the country and the world.
He plans to continue entering the competition.
“I tried the week before last and was unsuccessful,” he said.
