ENTRPRENEURS develop business ideas to suit demands of products and services from targeted audience or customers, a young businesswoman says.
Jakapi Arigo Mere, pictured, from Dauli in Hela decided to establish an internet café after observing that many students (school aged children) in Port Moresby needed internet and printing services to assist for educational purposes.
From the knowledge she acquired from schooling and years of experience, she decided to venture into internet business as it had always been her passion.
Mere graduated from UPNG in 2005 with a bachelor of science majoring Mathematics and Computer Science. She worked as an IT analyst for more than five years.
In 2013, she went for further studies at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia and graduated in 2015 with master of business process management (MBPM).
