THE inaugural indigenous business summit on Tuesday received another three bronze sponsors who came on board with K30,000 each.
They were Mineral Resource Development Co (MRDC), Industrial Centres Development Corp (ICDC) and Air Niugini which will be offering special airfares to those attending the event.
General manager for MRDC Clifford Kasi said they were happy to support the event that would pave the way in maximising the participation of indigenous business.
Chairman of the inaugural summit Richard Maru thanked the three sponsors, adding it gave them encouragement and support.
Maru said that the summit would cost K1.2 million to hold and whatever funds left from the event would go towards the establishment of the indigenous business council which would serve as the legitimate voice of indigenous business.
