A BUSINESS is not just about providing services to customers, a company executive says.

Jeromu Narimole, director of local financial lender Crazy Finance, said that when presenting a 20kg bag of rice to Jacklyn Henry during the company’s first giveaway draw yesterday.

Henry was chosen the winner after applying for a loan and having her name put into a draw.

Narimole said being in a business was not just about taking but giving back to customers to ensure loyalty and trust in the services provided.

“It was one of the reasons for the company to come up with a way to reward its customers,” Narimole said.

“Jacklyn is single a mother of two who takes care of her family through child maintenance from her former husband.

“She came in to get a loan of K200 to further assist her family and repaid her loan in the designated period.

“She was then later picked as the lucky winner of our first draw and the joy from her shows how much a small token such as this can have an effect on one’s life, even for a short while.

“And like Jacklyn most of our customers take loans because of circumstances affecting them financially and they are always happy with our service.

“That is why we introduced our weekly draw as way to give back to our customers.”

Narimole said the weekly giveaway promotion was for Port Moresby-based customers but there were plans to introduce it to its outside branches.

“We are looking to include Lae but that will be after the success of the promotion … we will add runner-up draws as well.”
