PRIME Minister James Marape has been urged to become a circuit breaker by taking back Papua New Guinea and giving it to the people as promised.
Former Hela Governor Francis Potape said when commending and congratulating the MP for Tari-Pori for being elected the country’s eighth prime minister last Thursday.
He said the number eight stood for a new beginning and if there was going to be a new beginning for this country, then it would start with the new prime minister.
“I want Honourable Marape to be a circuit breaker,” Potape said.
“The old ways of doing business and running the Government and this country should end with the resignation of Peter O’Neill and the election of Marape should send a strong signal to the country that this is a new beginning for PNG,” he said in a statement.
