THE Lae Amateur Swimming Club has invited youngsters in Lae and around Morobe to try swimming. LASC vice-president Steven Kalate said there were many hidden talents in the province who could take up swimming.
“PNG people swim in the sea and rivers and there is potential and my message is that while many people are playing rugby league, many are playing soccer but there’s less than 100 swimming. We need to build up our numbers,” Kalate added.
