Call to start SMEs

 PEOPLE of Southern Highlands have been urged to venture into small to medium businesses to improve their lives.

Governor William Powi said with the Government’s free education policy and the provincial government’s policy to issue school uniforms to clothe the children, the parents should now use their money to start businesses.

He said there are commercial banks including a micro bank for people to access the services.

Powi that the purpose of provincial government was to provide the environment and provide basic services to the people to improve their lives like good roads, better health and education facilities, improved 

law and order and opportunities to grow the SME sector.
