Semo striker Sheppard Camilus starred with two goals to help his side claim the prize.

Semo kept up the pace in the second stanza and Camilus picked up his second goal and the team from the University of Goroka looked in control heading into the final quarter of the half.
Clifford Matanga put the game beyond X-Biz’s reach with his side’s third goal off a corner kick.
Trailing 3-0 and with 10 minutes of regulation time left, X-Biz were rewarded for their efforts at the Semo box with penalty which saw them convert to add some respectability to the scoreline.
Semo skipper Ken Kaiban described their win as a result of a consistent regular season.

“I also want to thank the Goroka Football Association for managing to run a competition despite facing challenges.”
Semo was formed in 2014 with the help of the Goroka Football Association.
The club was formed with a purpose to unite students at UOG get involved in a sport that they could all play. “Since the establishment of the team, we’ve seen many positive outcomes and winning the grand final ius just one of them,” Kaiban said.
“Semo means Sepik and Morobe but we’re open to interested players from all provinces because we aim to promote unity using football.
“This is the third time Semo have win a final. We won our first title in our debut year and then in 2016.”
Kaiban also commended X-Biz for giving them a good challenge.
“X-Biz is a new team but they gave a lot to come this far. They’re a good side and we really appreciate the challenge they gave us.”
