Capital city getting too much

I REFER to your newspaper story on the K77 million one-kilometre opened last week in Port Moresby. There we go again, another expensive road project for only a short distance. Why is the O’Neill Government spending so much in the capital city. The bulk of our people in the other provinces need roads, bridges, health services, better school facilities, road maintenance, rural electrification, better houses for teachers and health workers and list goes on. Meanwhile, the Highlands Highway needs urgent attention. What can the Government do for the only road that contributes more to the country’s economy?
