Case put off to Feb

National, Normal

SEVERAL Kutubu landowners who had filed proceedings in court to declare the signing of the licence-based benefits sharing agreement (LBBSA) in PDL 2 as null and void, had their matter adjourned yesterday to early next year by the Waigani National Court.
The Foe landowners were led by their chairman, Hami Yawari, who claimed that the signing of the LBBSA in PDL 2 had involved irregularities and undue influences.
The case will resume when the new legal year  commences after the Christmas holidays.
