THREE Air Niugini cashiers are facing fraud-related charges over more than K600,000 of company money which has gone missing.
Head of the National Fraud and Anti-Corruption directorate Chief Supt Matthew Damaru said Wilma Dongo, 27, of Morobe, Dorothy Jarick, 27, of West Sepik and Terry Laka, 34, of Central, had been charged with one count of conspiracy to defraud and one count of misappropriation.
The total amount was K603, 932.
They were working as senior cashiers for Air Niugini at the Business Travel Centre at the Waterfront Konedobu ticket sales office in Port Moresby.
Damaru said the Air Niugini management reported the matter for the directorate to investigate.
The three are expected to appear at the Waigani District Court this week.
