CATS will face Port Power in round seven of the Port Moresby Australian Football League competition at the Colts Oval on Sunday.
Power are second on the 10-team ladder while Cats are fourth.
Cats will be chasing their sixth win this season.
Gerehu Magpies will face Gordons Kokofas and Concept Kobonis will meet University Tigers in tomorrow’s A-grade fixtures.
Alavana Swans will hosts ladder-leading West Eagles at Raukele Oval in Hula tomorrow.
Sunday’s matches will see Gereka Bombers play Dockers and Cats face Power in the main fixture of the round. Cats escaped with a 34-31 win over Kokofas last Sunday and will aim for a convincing win over Power. Cats coach Joe Maggio told The National last week that his men had improved in most aspects of their game.
But he said they need to get their passes right and start strongly.
Maggio said a lack of experience in the side was not an excuse as they continued a solid campaign for the premiership.
“We’ve recorded just one loss and all wins so far, and we have shown a lot of improvement since the start of the season,” he said.
“One key factor has been our fitness. We’ve been struggling lately, but the win over Kokofas showed that we are getting better.
“For the next game (against Power), I would really like to see us start strongly in the first quarter.
“We almost lost against Kokofas due to a poor start.”
