Celebrations should have been cancelled

WHY didn’t the Government and National Pandemic Response Controller David Manning prevent people from celebrating the country’s 46th Independence Day?
The people will not die if they do not celebrate this year’s independence.
We have to use common sense.
People’s lives and businesses matter.
The Government and Manning have failed the people of this country.
Many people in different regions celebrated the day without practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
We should expect a surge in Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases because of this.
We have lost trust in the control measures.
Stop talking about lockdowns and quarantine.
