Census to be held next year

National

PRIME Minister James Marape says the national census will be conducted next year.
Marape said this when addressing the 56th Medical Symposium of the Medical Society of Papua New Guinea yesterday in Port Moresby.
He said the Government would work to have more information on the country and the national census was an important part of that process.
“There will be many questions in the census including ones related to health,” he said.
Marape said the last census was conducted around 12 years ago and it was important that a major census was conducted in 2023 as previously scheduled census had not taken place.
