Central needs a hospital

Letters

CENTRAL needs a provincial hospital. Creating tents along the perimeters of Port Moresby General Hospital must at some stage come to an end. If logistics is an issue, then think of a Hiri-East Hospital and a Hiri-West Hospital. Central is huge by land mass and population.
Central must stand up in unity.
The provincial hospital will be the source of strength to further develop the province.
To start off with, start refurbishing existing health infrastructure in the province, and then bring on the Central Provincial Hospital.
Central is not National Capital District. Central has a lot of highly-educated Papua New Guineans.
In the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, well-educated Central people have travelled to work in other provinces to contribute to developing PNG.
It is about time well-educated people of this province come together, put differences aside, and put the same energy into developing Central. Support your Governor Robert Agarobe with his theme – ‘Do it the Central Way’.
