Central’s finance division gets vehicle

THE Finance division is the engine room of any organisation, according to Central provincial deputy administrator – corporate service Bala Kapa.
He handed over the keys to a K35,000 vehicle to the provincial finance and administration division on Tuesday.
The fund was allocated from the Central government’s internal grants.
“The finance administration division in the provincial administration is the backbone of its government,” Kapa said.
He said the division should be properly equipped with staff, office equipment and vehicles to deliver its functions.
“Finance is the engine room of any organisation. You can have all the plans but without money, you cannot do anything,” he said.
Kapa said 2017 should be a good one for the province.
“Basically our role is to deliver services to the people of Central and assets like vehicles we are buying will help us to improve our performance that will eventually reach our people in the rural areas in terms of service delivery to improve their living,” Kapa said.
