Check all depts for stolen assets

LAST Friday’s The National reported that the Department of Agriculture and Livestock recovered six stolen department vehicles.
This is good news.
If this happens in the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, it is presumed that the same may be happening in all other departments.
This needs to be investigated.
Stealing and misappropriation of funds and assets is done by the officers who have been in the system for long.
These officers, with their years of experience, know how to steal from the departments.
Such officers should be sacked and referred to the police.
This is official corruption.
Departmental heads should start to employ new graduates and employees rather than keeping the old ones in the system.
Some of them know the system too well that they can only steal rather than contributing meaningfully.
