Check candidates’ health before polls

THE high number of deaths of MPs in this term of parliament has left many electorates without leaders.
People from these electorates have to wait till the end of the elections to have leaders.
This is why I believe it is important to enforce mandatory medical clearance for those who wish to contest in the elections.
Tests on major organs and blood as well as tests for TB and HIV should be made mandatory.
