CHESHIRE Homes in Port Moresby has received food stuff worth K5,000, thanks to the City Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) Foundation.
The donation was to help provide residents a balanced nutritious meal.
Foundation special projects manager Ajay Patel said their circle of influence and resilience not only covered their hardworking local farmers but also those living at the margins of society.
Chesire Disability Services PNG programme support and operations officer Tom Sarwon said the facility provided an essential service because it operated like a hospital and was always open.
“CPL has been a long-time supporter for us and support from such good corporate organisations allows us to welcome people with special needs,” he said.
Cheshire Homes provided an environment that was safe and conducive for people with special needs.
