Cheshire receives K17,000 worth of merchandise

A COMPANY has donated merchandise and caps with a total estimated cost of K17,000 to the Cheshire Disabilities Service as part of its community support.
City Pharmacy Limited Group chief operations officer Navin Raju said the CPL Foundation had been supporting Cheshire and other charity organisations over the years.
Subsidiary Jacks of PNG yesterday donated 500 pieces of PNG merchandise and 50 caps to the organisation.
“Through the CPL Foundation, we have various groups which support women, provide food and other assistance to those in need,” he said.
“Lots of people and organisations were struggling to raise funds during the Covid-19 period to support the children and the underprivileged.
“So we encouraged business houses and agencies to support such charity organisations.”
