Chief Justice appointment hailed

THIS is our Hela people’s formal and sincere salute of honour to the new PNG judiciary management under our blessed and outstanding Chief Justice Sir Gibbs Salika.
This is for his new unique management approaches for true justice within a minimum period as published in The National on Monday (Dec 17).
After all ‘Justice delayed is justice denied’.
Thank you once more Chief Justice.
Although, Hela is the host of six oil and gas projects including the PNG LNG Project, which has been bringing billions of kina into the national government’s coffers for the last 30 years and will continue, Hela is one of the least-developed districts in the country.
Talking about court cases, Hela has more cases for one specific project area as compared to any other project area in the country.
We also acknowledge Registrar Ian Augerea, Deputy Chief Justice Ambeng Kandakasi and all current and former judges and magistrates in the country.
