Children receive gifts

The sponsor of Papua New Guinea national women’s cricket team, City Pharmacy Limited, through its foundation, donated Christmas gifts to the children of the Friends Foundation on Wednesday.
PNG Lewas and Rebels Netball Club, also a CPL-sponsored club, were engaged to help with the presentation of gifts.
“On behalf of City Pharmacy Limited Group, we wish our friends at the Friends Foundation, a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New year.
“We are happy to share that love for Christmas with the gifts we have presented and I know the Children are very happy,” CPL Foundation project officer Oti Lasavagabau said.
“CPL continues to support the Friends Foundation in recognition of Tessie Soi as one of the Pride of PNG Winners in 2012, in the Care and Compassion category,” Lasagavibau said. Rori Sitapai received the gifts on behalf of Friends Foundation and thanked City Pharmacy Limited for its continued support.
