Chinese foreign minister set to visit PNG next week

CHINA’S Foreign Minister Wang Yi is expected to visit the country next week to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on agriculture and economic cooperation with the PNG Government.
Foreign Affairs Minister Justin Tkatchenko said Wang was expected to arrive on April 20. He will have talks with the Government as regards cooperation on cocoa and coffee to boost the agricultural sector.
Wang will also meet Prime Minister James Marape and deliver disaster relief supplies from the Guangdong province in China.
Wang is expected to depart the next day.
