THE Tusa Private Hospital in Lae received some Christmas gifts when they were presented with cartons of medical text books and reference books.
The hospital’s medical services director, Dr Maria Resurrection, was overwhelmed saying medicine was an ever-changing science and it was important to keep up with the latest changes as new research and trends were being developed regularly.
She said these books would inform a medical practitioner on the new developments in treatment and therapy techniques in the various specialties of medicine.
The donation was made by Sue Mooney through McGraw Hill Education Australia and New Zealand, with a total cost of A$12,000.
