Christian Health Services (CHS) is a major partner of the Health Department in delivering health services to the people through public-private partnership.
During their 49th annual conference in Port Moresby yesterday, CHS chief executive Ulch Tapia thanked the Government and partners for continuous support in terms of helping them deliver services.
“Through the CHS Act 2017 and the memorandum of understanding with Health Department, CHS is committed to meet the expectations and improvement of mission’s health service delivery,” Tapia said.
“We have come this far and we cannot remain the same, we have to increase the level of competition.”
Health Department’s manager of policy and planning Agnes Pawiong said the health sector project priorities launched in 2016 had six main areas of which leadership and partnership were the first.
