Churches challenged

Churches are the agents responsible to change the lives of people by preaching the word of God.
The powerful word of God, which created the universe and human beings, is active and alive, and it works miracles to transform our lives.
The alternate solution for a complete change in the hearts and minds of the people is the word of God.
The death penalty and other laws imposed, social services and infrastructure development cannot change the lives of people.
The word of God is the ultimate weapon to change our lives if preached purely without compromising with politics, customs, traditions and cultures of earthly kingdom.
Churches are independent organisations representing God to preach the message of salvation, and they cannot compromise with earthly kingdom.
Churches have been preaching the word of God for many years, but nothing seem to have changed, instead major social problems are increasing daily.
Those who claim to be Christians are also involved in corrupt, ungodly activities without fearing God, assuming forgiveness is granted at the sinner’s prayer on the days of worship, but out of context.
The Christian principals do not prevail in the individual lives, our homes, villages, towns and cities. The word of God is a very powerful weapon, and a phrase or scripture can change our lives if preached purely without compromising with earthly kingdom.
The current situation of gender- based violence and other problems in PNG is due to lack and failure of churches not preaching the truth to the people.
Churches have lost their vision and commission of preaching the gospel message of salvation, and they involve in businesses and partnership with politics which is contradicted to the word of God of the Bible and Israelites PNG has adopted to serve.
