CIMC team to meet today

THE first Consultative Implementation and Monitoring Council informal economy committee meeting today will discuss various issues including updates on the informal economy policy.
CIMC communications officer Bonnie Abola said: “The meeting will be focusing on a number of issues which includes updates on the national informal economy policy, updates on the review of the Informal Sector Development and Control Act 2004 and
discussion on the NCDC waste management policy.”
Chairmanship of the committee will be handed over by Max Kep and Anna Solomon will take over as director of the office of urbanisation.
CIMC is an independent organisation which brings together civil society, private sector and government partners to develop policy and influence government decision-making for long-term development.
The meeting will be held at the Institute of National Affairs conference room, IPA Haus, Konedobu.
