Cinema to open new branch today

 Paradise Cinema will launch its second multiplex cinema today at Waigani Central, Port Moresby, the City Pharmacy Group (CPL) said.

Paradise Cinema is a joint business venture of CPL Group, PNG FM and Fiji’s Damodar Group.

Senior operations manager Esther Gegelagi said: “We are very proud of our new Paradise Cinemas, as we continue to bring the best in cinema entertainment to PNG. 

“We have pledged to give our audiences ‘great moments at their greatest’ with every movie experience. 

“Our investment into the second Paradise Cinema in the city provides further evidence of our ongoing commitment to continuously deliver on this promise.”

CPL Group chairman Mahesh Patel said: “It is interesting to note that our multiplex cinema performs well throughout the year, irrespective of what title is being screened. 

“For us, these points to the fact that audiences go there to enjoy the cinematic experience, while being treated to a great movie at the same time.”

The new Paradise Cinema outlet will prove to be a mecca for movie-goers with these ticket prices:  K15 for adults and K10 for kids (12-years-old and below) for 2D movies; K18 for adults and K13 for kids (12 years old and below).

The cinema comprises of three silver screens and totalling 539 seats.

Its gaming centre Hamamas Ples will be set up as well.
