City firm supplies waste bins

 A PORT Moresby firm is supplying waste bins to the National Capital District Commission to support its ‘Keep Port Moresby City Clean’ campaign.

Pig Bins Ltd marketing executive Michael Kapekoro said last Friday that they would expand the service to other organisations and private residents. 

“We started working with NCDC last year to boost the initiative in keeping the city clean by providing the bins for waste disposal,” he said.  

Sales and customer service officer Iamine Niuna said the company was responsible for removing rubbish from the waste bins and taking it to the dump sites. 

She said the volume capacity of the waste bins ranged from three to nine cubic meters.
