City Pharmacy, Vodafone roll out electronic top-up at shops in major centres

VODAFONE customers can now make electronic top ups at Stop & Shop outlets around the country.
City Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) marketing general manager Kevin Alo said CPL, Stop & Shop’s parent company in partnership with Vodafone would rollout the service in Port Moreby, Lae, Goroka, Madang, Mt Hagen and Wewak.
Alo said this during the launch on Friday.
“We are aligning our services to ensure that Vodafone customers can efficiently do their top ups while grocery shopping here at Stop&Shop,” the general manger said.
“With all our retail brands around the country as well as Stop & Shop, we interact with thousands of customers daily.
“This innovative move by Vodafone aligns with our vision to delivering outstanding value and exceptional customer experience on our mobile service products.
“Currently, our stores have two other mobile operators on our system and the national power service (PNG Power) is also selling here.
“This electronic top-up service will not only be rolled out in Port Moresby but Goroka, Lae, Madang, Mt Hagen and Wewak.
“Basically, benefiting everyone and expanding the Vodafone footprint.”
Top ups range from K1 and upwards.
