City residents urged to work with police to prevent crimes

PEOPLE in the National Capital District have been encouraged to work with the police to prevent crimes in the city.
Inspector Patrina Dikin, who is in charge of the crime prevention division unit in the National Capital District, said everyone should work together.
Dikin said they were ready to teach major and minor laws to the people so that they could help prevent crimes in their own communities.
“We know the challenges out there and we all have a duty to perform,” she said. “So to meet our duty to keep our city without crime or with less crime, it was better the residents should work with police to curb crime.
She said it would take less cost and a change in attitude to build a safer community.
“If we don’t take the lead, then who else is going to do it?” she said.
Dikin said it would be a challenge for police and the communities.
“At the end of the day, this is our country and it is our responsibility to make it a safer place,” she said.
