Clean up Lae City Council mess

 I WOULD like to express my concern about the Lae City Council and the city manager’s post. It’s a disgrace that people in authority are arguing over the position. There was a suicide in one of the local communities in Lae where the deceased, an employee of LCC, had an argument with his wife because there was no money to feed the family. Where has all the money gone? 

All of the employees go without pay for several days or even weeks. The outstanding bills of the local contractors are also pilling up. It’s dreadful for businesses to continue in such a situation. The situation must be brought under control because the establishment of the new Lae City Authority.
