Clergymen receive Christmas gifts

Faith

PASTORS and church representatives at Yore village in lower Mendi Imbonggu, Southern Highlands, received food rations as gifts from a donor on the eve of Christmas.
The food rations were donated by Ferman Kemnasi Mambu, who had been known for doing charity work in the electorate such as sponsoring sporting activities and providing students’ awards for schools, and donating books to schools.
This Christmas he did something different by giving food rations to local church pastors and representatives from different denominations who did pastoral work in the village.
Mambu said he decided to give to the church pastors and church representatives as appreciation for the work they did and to God as the source of life.
The pastors and church representatives that received food rations were from the Catholic Church, United Church, Governing Church, Seventh-day Adventist Church, American Lutheran Church Pentecostal (ALC), Reform Seventh Day Adventist and Revival Church.
