College celebrates annual foundation week

DON Bosco Chimbu Technical College students recently celebrated its annual Don Bosco Foundation Week.
The Catholic Bishops Conference said the week-long event (from Aug 16-20) saw students participate in talent and fashion shows, a media education seminar and a eucharist mass.
The activities were organised by the college’s deputy administrator Fr Clifford Morais.
Kundiawa diocese Bishop Rev Paul Sundu was the main celebrant of the mass.
Concelebrating with him was the rector of the college Fr Dominic Kachira, who was assisted by Fr Edwin Genovia, visiting priests from Port Moresby, Fr Ambrose Pereira and Fr Clifford Morias.
“The programme was tailored to a high standard,” Fr Clifford said. “Though it was a week out from regular classes, I must say it was an educative and informative week for students across the trades.”
